Customers inside a 7-Eleven store on the outskirts of Bangkok were shocked when suddenly saw a huge lizard, almost three meters long, enter the store. The reptile had just emerged from a canal near the store and came running into the supermarket, where it entered causing panic.

In the video that has gone viral on social networks, you can hear how some of the customers in the store begin to scream, at the same time as they hide with the employees behind the counter. The lizard, meanwhile, seems to try to open one of the doors of the refrigerator area, but, unable to do so, it moves to a shelf.

The images recorded by one of the customers show how the reptile deftly climbs up the shelf, where it settled for almost an hour, constantly moving its tongue. At that moment, one of the workers called the police, who sent a team specialized in capturing these animals to the store.
