Authorities and importer of NGV buses to Laem Chabang Port differ on causes of damage

RAYONG, 27th February 2018 (NNT) – The director of Laemchabang Port has confirmed that three NGV buses found damaged in their containers sustained the damage before arrival in Thailand.

Director of Laemchabang Port, Pol Sub-Lt. Montri Rerkjamnien explained today that each of the buses was sent to Thailand in a 40 foot container which was placed inside the container not containing any protective beams. Three were found with broken windows upon arrival at the port and were noted as being damaged while abroad, by both port authorities and the shipping operator.
