A 15-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by lightning as he was collecting bamboo shoots in a forest in Rayong on Tuesday night.
Rescuers found the body of Pongsathorn Thaosuwan, 15, lying about five metres away from a bamboo bush at about 10pm, Pluekdaeng police said.
