PATTAYA – A Russian plastic surgeon was found dead in Pattaya earlier this month after falling from the 16th floor of a hotel, according to Thai police. The death of 41-year-old Timofey Borisov, initially reported to Russian media as suspicious, is now officially attributed to injuries sustained from a high fall.

Police were alerted by staff at the D Varee hotel on January 6 around 8:57 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Borisov’s body on the ground near the building. He was identified as a Russian national and showed extensive trauma consistent with a fall from a significant height, including multiple fractures and severe head injuries.

A forensic autopsy conducted at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Central Police Hospital in Bangkok confirmed the cause of death as an open traumatic brain injury with rupture of brain tissue, aligning with the on-scene assessment.
