Rescue workers from the Samut Prakan Rescue Centre arrived to find seven individuals—staff and customers—with non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle had plowed into the establishment, destroying furniture and damaging two parked cars outside.

The driver, who was also slightly injured, admitted to police that he had been drinking beer at a golf course before driving home toward Thepharak Road. He claimed not to remember how the accident occurred. Notably, the stretch of Sri Waree Noi Road where the crash happened is straight, with no curves.
