PHUKET, Thailand – A tragic jet-ski collision at Patong Beach claimed the life of a Chinese tourist on Tuesday, January 14th. The incident occurred near the Dolphin Public Park, according to emergency responders who spoke to the Phuket Express.

Russian Man Allegedly Steals Jet-Ski from Phuket Beach

At approximately 2:30 P.M., emergency services were alerted to the accident. Upon arrival, they found that lifeguards had already rescued two individuals from the water. Both victims were rushed to Patong Hospital, where 33-year-old Mr. L. H. C., a Chinese national, was pronounced dead on arrival.
The second individual, 28-year-old Mr. L. Z., also from China, sustained minor injuries. He recounted to lifeguards that he and Mr. Liu were riding separate jet-skis when they collided.
