Phuket Immigration has confirmed that a Russian man who was arrested at the Phuket International Airport had allegedly hired a gunman to shoot another Russian man at Boat Avenue in Cherng Talay.

The Royal Thai Immigration Commander Lieutenant General Itthiphon Itthisarnronnachai revealed to the press on Wednesday (December 27th). That a man identified only as Mr. Alexander, 53, a Russian national, was arrested at the Phuket International Airport for the accusation of threatening, hiring, asking as a favor, or instigation for an attempted murder with a gun.
