>Wat Thung Masang is a traditional Thai Buddhist temple located in Ban Tha Chaeng, a small village not far from Kanchanaburi town.

The architecture of this small 3 building complex does not differ much from other temples nationwide, nevertheless it’s worth visiting this place for its activities.

Thung Masang temple host many celebrations for its devotees, among them, the ordination procedure for Buddhist monks, and several other ceremonies with the participation of the local community, offering free food and beverages to the attendees. Dances, folk and tribal music performed by the local band, and colorful processions mark the cheerful spirit of the residents.
