Wat Songtham Worawihan, Samut Prakan

Wat Songtham Worawihan is an old Mon Buddhist Temple located in Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan, near the Chao Phraya River. The temple was built during the reign of King Jessadabodindra (Rama III).

Wat Song Tham Worawihan contains a large Chedi in Mon style. The Viharn or Buddhist monastery is decorated with traditional teak and teak roof with the Buddha’s footprints. The complex houses the Wat Songtham School.

At present, the temple is a second class royal monastery.
