Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahatat Woramahawihan (วัดพระศรีรัตนมหาธาตุ), commonly called by the inhabitants as Wat Yai, is located in the city of Phitsanulok, Northern Thailand.

Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahatat enshrines Thailand’s second most famous Buddha image, the Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, also commonly referred to as Phra Buddha Chinnarat, and it is famous throughout Thailand for this golden Buddha sculpture.

Wat Yai has a large vihara with a enormous main entrance with mother of pearl inserts donated by King Boromakot in 1756. Beyond the Vihara is a Khmer style Prang. The Prang is said to enshrine relics of the Buddha.

The temple has a cloister built in 1357 during the reign of King Maha Thammaradscha I of Sukhothai.
