Thailand reported 1,335 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, the largest daily increase since the start of the pandemic and the third record rise this week, as the country battles a new wave of infections.
No new deaths were reported. The new cases brought the total number of infections to 35,910, and deaths remained at 97.
