Hundreds of protesters gather in front of Parliament to demand the government’s resignation

Hundreds of protesters and activists have taken to the streets to protest in front of the Parliament of Thailand in the framework of the debate on the motion of no confidence against the Government of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan Ocha, which ends this Friday and will be voted on Saturday.

The protesters, mostly young, have used loudspeakers to demand the resignation of the president and have addressed the different economic and educational failures of his government, according to information from the Bloomberg news agency, which has indicated that some opposition deputies have joined the protests.

Shortly before, the newspaper ‘The Bangkok Post’ reported that the authorities had deployed some 12,000 troops in the area due to the possibility of new demonstrations and riots due to the Motion of no confidence.
