A man who worked as an interpreter at the labour office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has died of coronavirus disease after returning to Bangkok, the 59th Covid-19 fatality recorded in Thailand.

Somsak Akksilp, the director-general of the Medical Science Department, said the man was declared dead at Rajavithi Hospital at noon on Friday.
