Suspected insurgents blew up three Automatic Teller Machines in two districts in the deep South province of Pattani and escaped with banknotes from one of the ATMs.

Local police suspected insurgents were responsible for the bombings, but they are still looking into whether the incidents were related to Friday’s series of bomb attacks in Bangkok.
