Court Dismisses Case against Red Shirt Demonstrators

BANGKOK, Aug 14 (TNA) – The Criminal Court dismissed the case against the 24 red-shirt leaders, arraigned on terrorism charges in relation to the 2010 demonstrations.

Public prosecutors filed charges against 24 leaders of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) for instigating violence during the protest to oust the then Abhisit Vejjajiva government from Feb 28 – May 20, 2010.
