Fine Raised for Motorbike Riders on Footpaths

BANGKOK, July 27 (TNA) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will from August 1 double fines from 1,000 to 2,000 baht on motorcyclists riding on footpaths, starting from August 1.

Informants, who reported the wrongdoing to BMA officials will receive half of the total fines or 1,000 baht after the cases end.
