Tourist Police arrested a Nigerian on Thursday for involvement in an alleged international romance scam that appears to have netted Bt16 million.

Pol Maj Gen Surachet Hakpal, deputy commissioner of the Tourist Police Bureau, said ATM cards, bank pass books, a mobile phone and a computer were seized when Light Chinezurum was arrested at a Bangkok apartment.
