Pro-democracy activist Ekachai arrested

Pro-democracy activist Ekachai Hongkangwan was arrested by police Saturday morning (Feb 10) after he and three other activists defied two summonses by Pathumwan police for acknowledgement of charges.

Mr Ekachai was taken from his home by the police to Lat Phrao police station for making arrest record before being escorted to Pathumwan police for acknowledgement of charges in connection with the Jan 27 gathering at Pathumwan intersection’s sky walk to call for election.
