PM, Environment Minister confirm legal action over ItalThai President caught poaching

BANGKOK, 7th February 2018 (NNT) – The Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment, have both confirmed that anyone found to be poaching animals in Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary will face legal action.

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha has called for standard police work in the legal processing of Premchai Kannasut, President of Italian-Thai Development Co Ltd, who was found to be illegally hunting animals in Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary of Kanchanaburi province, assuring the public that he will not be able to use his position or connections to circumvent justice.
