A Rayong factory security guard was killed in a hit and run late Wednesday night while crossing the road to begin his shift.

A foundation rescue squad summoned Nikhom Pattana police to the scene soon after midnight Thursday. Thongbai Sihaphak, 58, died from severe injuries to the head and also suffered broken limbs.
