Security officer to the rescue in Pattani attempted murder
A state intelligence officer saved the lives of a Pattani family of four on Sunday afternoon when he chased off a pair of gunmen shooting at them in their pickup truck.
Officials believe the attack was related to the ongoing unrest in the deep South.
