IS gun-runner is frequent visitor to Thailand

A Malaysian national suspected by Malaysian authorities to have links with the Islamic State (IS) terror group and who escaped into Thailand had repeatedly entered and left the country, the army said Thursday.

“He came here as a tourist and we still don’t have any information that may indicate he is involved [with IS],” 4th Army chief Piyawat Nakwanich said.
