Five foreigners left stranded by tour bus, cash stolen

CHIANG MAI – Five foreign tourists who bought tour packages from Bangkok to Chiang Mai complained they were left stranded at a petrol station in this northern province and found that 80,000 baht in cash was missing from their bags.

Police went to Bangchak petrol station Chiang Mai-Lampang Road in Saraphi district after being told on Monday morning a group of unhappy tourists were there, Thai media reported.
