UTTARADIT — The driver of oil truck was killed when it overturned and exploded in a giant fireball in Tron district early on Thursday, police said.

Pol Lt Col Prinya Nakwisut, an investigator at Tron police station, said the accident occurred about 5.13am on Highway 1 (Uttaradit-Phitsanulok) between kilometre markers 281-282 near Moo 10 village in tambon Nam Ang.
