NEW DELHI (Sputnik) – New Delhi Police Spokesperson Rajan Bhagat confirmed media reports about suspected radioactive leakage in New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, stressing that radioactivity in the area did not exceed permissible levels, according to a statement issued on Sunday.

“NDRF has confirmed that radioactivity is within the permissible limits,” the statement read.
