Samut Songkhram shuts down 2 illegal factories

SAMUT SONGKHRAM, 29 September 2016 (NNT) – Two seafood factories in Samut Songkhram province have been shut down for violating hygiene and factory laws.

A task force comprised of authorities from administrative, industry, employment and public health offices raided two rented houses which were illegally converted into seafood processing factories in Muang District. More than 160 workers from neighboring countries were found working as mussel cleaners there.
