BANGKOK, 1 August 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Tourism and Sports will use technology to help stimulate tourism in the last quarter this year. It has planned to use the famous game “Pokemon Go” to help promote Thailand’s important tourist sites.

Permanent Secretary for Tourism and Sports Phongphanu Sawetrun said the ministry would launch an application to help tourists plan a trip to Thailand. It will help them book accommodation and search for shops, restaurants and attractions through smart phone.
