Toxic e-waste found in Thailand to be shipped back to Japan

CHONBURI, 29 July 2016 (NNT) – More than 190 tons of toxic electronic waste will be shipped back to Japan today after it was found to be illegally imported to Thailand.

Deputy Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Industry Sakda Pankhla oversaw an event in which the 196 tons of toxic electronic waste was officially sent back to Japan.
