Ministry of Public Health prepares national alcohol action plan

BANGKOK, 24 June 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Public Health has prepared a national alcohol action plan to tighten controls, adjust values an reduce alcohol consumption.

Public Health Minister Piyasakon Sakolsattayathorn said that the cabinet had approved the 10-year strategic plan to implement from 2011-2020 as a framework for alcoholic beverage control. The plan focuses on tightening controls, adjusting values and reducing alcohol consumption.
