German MPs of Turkish Origin Get Death Threats After Armenian Genocide Vote

The recognition of the mass killings of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire as genocide resulted in all members of the German Bundestag with Turkish roots now fearing for their lives, German newspaper Zeit Online wrote.

After the Bundestag recognized the annihilation of the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire as genocide, all German deputies of Turkish origin have been threatened with death, the newspaper wrote.
