DSI probes mangrove forest encroachment in Phuket

PHUKET – The Department of Special Investigation is looking into alleged encroachment of a mangrove forest at Kuku village in Muang district.

DSI chief Paisit Wongmuang on Friday inspected the mangrove forest areas at Kuku village following a complaint by local residents that an investor had cleared part of the forest.
