Authorities in Bueng Kan seize illegal rosewood worth over 1 million Baht

BUENG KAN, 14 March 2016 (NNT) – Authorities in Bueng Kan Province have confiscated smuggled rosewood, as the Northeastern Region of the country continues to be a hotbed for illegal trafficking of timber.

Authorities seized a total of 82 logs of rosewood, worth over 1 million Baht during their patrol along the Khong River.
