NBTC to permanently revoke Thai TV’s digital TV licences

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission will propose its broadcasting board to revoke the digital TV licences of Thai TV Co after it failed to pay the second instalment of its auction fee yesterday.

Thai TV which was awarded licences to operate two digital channels, Loca and Thai TV, again failed to meet the extended deadline yesterday after failing to pay the second instalment of 288.472 million baht due in May 25 last year.
