‘Enormous’ 6.4 Quake Shakes Taiwan

At least two people have been killed following a 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in southern Taiwan early Saturday morning. A number of residential buildings have collapsed, with many casualties feared.
The quake was originally reported as a magnitude 6.7.
At least four people have died, and another 154 have been hospitalized. Citing Taiwanese authorities, Phoenix TV reports that as many as 250 people could remain trapped inside a collapsed 17-story building.
