Security ramped up at Phuket piers

PHUKET: In an effort to ramp up security on the island, all passengers arriving or leaving via one of the island’s piers must show have their passport or ID card recorded via CCTV Phuket Governor has announced.

The announcement came on Wednesday (Jan 20).
