Manhunt underway for a drug gang which wounded a police officer

Police are still hunting for a drug gang which shot and seriously wounded a police officer in a failed sting operation in Ayutthaya province on Thursday.

Pol Sgt-Maj Samphan Narkvisut who is attached to Phra Nakhon Sriayutthaya district police was shot in the abdomen by one of the drug gang in front of SUPPORT Centre in Bang Pa-in district as he stepped out of a car to take delivery of a drug consignment.
