Pro-Isis slogans and threats of an imminent terror attack daubed on Mahatma Gandhi statue in India

The writing allegelly included warnings about a terror attack during Tuesday’s nationwide Republic Day celebrations.

India is already on high alert after intelligence officials detected ‘chatter’ between senior Isis commanders in Syria and a group of Indian sympathisers relating to an imminent terror attack.
