Silk Road caravan between Thailand and China to be launched

BANGKOK, 10 October 2015 (NNT) –A “15,000 miles from Altay to Suvarnabhumi” caravan along the Silk Road between China and Thailand will be organized to boost regional tourism with the latter country as main destination.

In a press conference, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor Yuthasak Supasorn disclosed that the ‘15,000 miles from Altay to Suvarnabhumi’ caravan was meant to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China as well as to promote a Discover Thainess campaign and to open a new tourism route in the AEC region.
