Fire guts Bangkok Chinese restaurant

A FIRE broke out at a Chinese restaurant in Thong Lor in Bangkok’s Wattana district early Saturday, but no injuries were reported.

Following the 2.30am fire report, police found the first three floors of the six-storey building on Sukhumvit Soi 21 ablaze. It took five teams of fire-fighters 30 minutes to control the blaze.
