Nonthaburi: officials step up measures against illegal wildlife trading

BANGKOK, 21 July 2014, (NNT) – Officials of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNP) have raided Sombutburi Market in Nontaburi notoriously known for its illegal wildlife trading activities.

According to the authorities, the suspects fled as soon as they spotted the officials who proceeded to confiscate 112 Red-whiskered bulbuls worth approximately 50,00 baht.
