People flood in Phatthalung palm plantation for gold

PHATTHALUNG, May 29 – Gold diggers continued to flood into an oil palm plantation in this southern Thai province to search for gold despite an absolute prohibition from the land owner.

Fifty or 60 people arrived at the plantation in Khao Chai Son district today in search of gold which they believe is buried underground.
