Explosive device found and removed near NACC office in Nonthaburi

NONTHABURI, 28 February 2014, (NNT) – The National Anti-Corruption Commission Secretary-General, Sansern Poljiak, believes the improvised explosive device found near the NACC office in Nonthaburi province was intended as a threat to NACC officers. The NACC is currently looking for a temporary office to ensure the safety of all staff.

The device was found near the NACC office on Sanambin Nam Road. It was an improvised explosive device inside a fire extinguisher, which was deposited not far from the NACC office. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was sent in to secure the site and safely remove it from the area.
