450,000 Methamphetamine pills seized in Chiang Rai drug bust

CHIANG RAI, Oct 19 – Some 450,000 methamphetamine (or meth) pills were seized in a Chiang Rai drug bust operation, as two drug smugglers evaded arrest.

Chiang Rai Governor Pongsak Wangsamer told a press briefing that his special drug suppression unit has seized some 450,000 meth pills and one motorcycle at Tha Sut subdistrict in Chiang Rai provincial seat.
