Karen ethnic arrested in Ratchaburi with illegal silvery langur meat

RATCHABURI, Feb 23 – An ethnic Karen was arrested in Ratchaburi with more than 200 kilogrammes of Silvery lutung meat while on delivery to trader.

Ratchaburi’s Suan Phueng district chief Rangsan Tancharoen on Saturday inspected the meat and entrails of the silvery langur, also known as the silvered leaf monkey which is a protected species under Thai law.
