BANGKOK, 28 August 2011 (NNT) – Road traffic snarl can be expected throughout the day as Central Lat Phrao, Bangkok opened its doors today after it was closed for a major renovation since the beginning of this year.
Central Lat Phrao has finally resumed its service today at 10.30 am with a multitude of shoppers flocking to the department store not only to shop but to view its new look.
Gridlocks on Vibhavadi, Phahonyothin and Lat Phrao roads have been reported earlier which have prompted the Traffic Police to encourage people to leave their cars at home and instead take public transportations such as BTS or MRT to Central.
Meanwhile, there are less people at CentralPlaza Bang Na since the fire broke out yesterday. Only authoritative persons and department store staff are allowed on the 7th floor where the fire started. Burning scent is reportedly lingering in the air at the moment.
