5 Meter Waves in Chumphon Capsize Fishing and Tourist Boats. Strong waves in the South are wreaking havoc on tourists and fishermen.

A tourism boat has reportedly capsized in Surat Thani. Initial reports do not indicate whether there are any casualties. Meanwhile, in Chumphon province, five meter waves have capsized 10 fishing trawlers. 14 fishermen survived the incident while two remain missing.

MCOT reported that a tourist boat capsized in Koh Prab island, Surat Thani, and 11 tourists are missing.
