The body of a woman, apparently murdered, was found in a small road close to Horseshoe Point on the Eastern outskirts of Pattaya, in the early hours of Saturday Morning.
Police soon arrived and inspected the body of the woman who was carrying no forms of identification.
Upon closer inspection it was determined she had been shot in her head and hip.
Another wound, thought to have been sustained as the victim attempted to protect herself from the gunfire was seen in her right wrist.
A total of three empty 9mm bullet casings were found close the body. Nobody heard the sound of gun shots or saw any vehicles enter or exit the general area.
With no details of the victim’s identification, Police can only speculate the shooting was a pre-planned event and may be related to drugs or a relationship issue.
A post mortem examination is now underway and Banglamung Police hope to have a name for the victim over the weekend so they can continue with their murder investigation.
