Underage Boys found in Police raid of South Pattaya Gay Bar

An undercover operation was organized in the early hours of Saturday Morning at the notorious Sunee Plaza area in South Pattaya, which is known for its gay bars which will often employ underage boys who are available for sexual services to their foreign patrons.

In a joint operation involving Chonburi Immigration and the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, a raid of the “Nice Boys Go-Go Bar” took place following evidence gathered by a foreign operative who was able to arrange for an underage boy to accompany him to a room above the club for the purpose of engaging in sexual activities in exchange for money. Inside the bar, the Thai employees and foreign patrons were held and everyone was urine tested, including the foreign patrons. Police identified 13 employees were under the age of 18, 1 employee was a foreign national who was not in possession of a work permit and 15 employees were not carrying their Thai ID cards which is a fineable offence here in Thailand.

5 Thai employees failed the urine test and were additionally arrested on class 1 drug charges.
