Two arrested with a million meth pills

Two alleged members of a large drug trafficking ring active on the Central Region were arrested with 1 million methamphetamine pills in their possession at a petrol station in Ayutthaya province on Monday, police said.

Pol Lt Gen Chaiwat Ketworachai, an acting assistant police chief, saidKanchit Moondin, 47, and Nathawut Thanapattanakul, 39, were nabbed by police after they arrived at a PTT petrol station in tambon Ban Pom of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district in two vehicles, a black Hyundai van and a Honda Jazz car.
