PM denies possible cabinet reshuffle

BANGKOK, 18 September 2016 (NNT) – The prime minister has confirmed that a cabinet reshuffle is not necessary at the moment.

Responding to a cabinet shakeup rumor following the resignation of Minister for Information and Communication Technology Uttama Savanayana, Prime Minster Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said there won’t be a cabinet shakeup anytime soon, adding that the resignation of Uttama was to allow the government to form a new ministry, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society.
